A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN AND HAVE FUN

"Grassroots soccer is an opportunity for kids to kick start their soccer journey and a place where they can develop a passion for the sport and fall in love with the game.

At Viktoria Soccer Club we are dedicated to creating and fostering a love and passion for the game by creating a fun environment for the kids to learn and grow.

Players will develop and work on physical literacy skills such as running, jumping, twisting, throwing, and catching. We will combine that with ball work which will focus on the four fundamentals of soccer which are passing, receiving/control, dribbling and shooting.

The sessions will combine physical literacy and ball work which will be displayed in a variety of different ways. Sessions will include fun games, challenges, skill development drills and small sided games. This allows for kids to enjoy the game and familiarize themselves with the ball."  Our enrollment will be limited to 32 5 and 6 year olds and 32 7 and 8 year olds. Persons with limited financial means may apply for support through

kidsportcanada.ca or jumpstart.canadiantire.ca

Our grassroots program will be lead by Conor Macdonald who is a former professional footballer, having spent the last 4 seasons playing professional and semi-professional football in the UK. Born in Scotland but moved to Canada when he was 5 and played all his youth football here growing up. During that time he played for different clubs within the city and ended his youth football at Victoria Soccer Club also while attending the St Francis Xavier Soccer Academy.
